DAILY improves stability of RFID system in libraries

DAILY RFID, a Chinese leading producer of RFID hardware, has recently unveiled two cost-effective products to improve stability of RFID system in libraries. The two products include the RFID Reader device DL810 and HF RFID Smart Label-11.

The RFID Reader DL810 is custom-designed for use in libraries, and offers several features to simply the check-in and check-out processes of library items. It uses anti-collision algorithm to enable a stack of library items to be scanned at a time, with fast tag processing speed of up to 50 tags per second, while maintaining good accuracy levels.

The reader is designed as a fixed reader at circulation desks and can be integrated into a variety of RFID management systems in libraries. The DL810 deploys a custom external HF reader antenna with a read range of up to 90 cm.

The HF RFID Smart Label-11 is a line of RFID tags for library assets. It is a blank adhesive label that contains a 13.56 MHz I-code 2 (ISO 15693) chip. And the label can be integrated with the antitheft Electronic Article Surveillance(EAS) functionality to guards against tampering and increase security.

Each label comes with a unique ID code and its memory capacity is customizable. To provide more value added product, they are fully supported on logo printing, number pringting and barcode printing. In addition to RFID Smart Label-11, DAILY also announced a square rfid label specially for tagged audiovisuals in libraries, such as CDs and DVDs.

DAILY expects the two products wil offer improved inventory control, increased efficiency through the automation of check-in and out in libraries.
